Ladies fellowship
Fellowship
Our aim is to continually serve our congregation and community.
In all our activities we give thanks to our heavenly Father for the Ladies Fellowship members who make this possible; they are a dedicated group who willingly go that extra mile to be of service.
Morning Ladies Group
Every second Wednesday, 9:30-11:00, in the church hall. All ages are welcome!
Evening Ladies Group
Every third Monday evening, 18:00-19:30, in the church hall. All ages are welcome!
What to expect?
The meetings start with devotions, followed by a brief “business” planning and report back on outreach projects and events which were undertaken during the month or being planned for the future. Thereafter we either have a guest speaker or do some activity together such as various craft
sessions, gift wrapping techniques, cookie icing, etc. followed by tea/coffee, fun and fellowship together.
Normally three LF members have a turn once a year to be hostesses of the meeting which means that they arrange the refreshments and the activity of their choice.
Outreach Projects
The Ladies Fellowship runs a number of outreach projects listed below. To find out more information about some of the projects follow this link to the Missions page. For others contact the ladies fellowship committee.
> Weekly soup feeding at Middelburg Hospital
> Court feeding for abused juveniles
> Knitting/sewing projects for underprivileged children
> Funds for little extras for Gran’s and Gramp’s at St Joseph’s Home
> Annual CMR meals
> Children’s general welfare in the community
> A luncheon and tea party twice a year for St Joseph’s Home
> The Sunshine Club which is run for the elderly with monthly get-togethers.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee do the initial event organizing and arrangements.
The chair lady is ably assisted by other committee members who have portfolios – Secretary, Treasurer, Catering, Outreach, Inventory/Library, and Goodwill/Visitation.
Other Activities
Events catering for baptisms, funerals, meetings etc
Ladies’ tea twice a year for the ladies in the congregation to be able to enjoy fellowship together.
An annual evening event – such as the Beach Party held on 12th October – is open to the congregation and great fun and fellowship takes place.
